About Our School
All schools in the Washington Elementary School District are committed to achieving excellence for every child, every day, every opportunity. Ironwood Elementary School's curriculum is fully aligned with State Standards. Ironwood School provides an environment conducive to learning, with high academic expectations commensurate with each child's potential; a safe, orderly, well-disciplined campus, where children demonstrate tolerance for others and respect for their person and property. Ironwood has a professional faculty knowledgeable in teaching and curriculum, with employees who maintain propriety in their interaction with the community. Ironwood Elementary School provides art, music and PE for all grade levels.
 
Our Mission
Ironwood Elementary School, a place where we strive for high academic achievement for all students while stressing our five Community of Caring Core Values of Family, Trust, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. We collaboratively work together as a team to develop our minds, socialization skills, and bodies. We use the technology of our school and community to help us prepare for the future.
